Trinity River Long Term Monitoring and 2014 SB3 Flow Validation
TRA staff is working with Tim Osting in processing, archiving and summarizing data developed during a 400-mile river navigation field survey between Fort Worth and Trinity Bay. Mr. Osting is working with TRA staff to develop an efficient and workable data structure to archive, organize and track QAQC processes for numerous data types collected by multiple agencies. This TRA dataset includes topographic information, flow, locations, water quality, shapefile, survey, field notes and photographic data. In addition, LiDAR-based topography data are being processed and integrated with on-the-ground topographic data collected during the field sampling events. Cross-section surveys, riparian vegetation counts, HEC-RAS modeling (water surface profiles and sediment transport capacity), and hydrology assessment will be completed and overseen by Aqua Strategies staff, in collaboration with agency staff and other firms.
